SCIENCE OF AN ERGONOMIC PADDLE BRUSH

                BETTER  BALANCE for BETTER PERFORMANCE

This is so important to relieve both STRESS and reduce FATIGUE in the hand and wrist areas.

The most universal shapes for a paddle hair brush are Oval or Square. The handles on these shapes are similar and tend NOT be ergonomic. The handles tend to be shorter, flat and not balanced with the brush head.

This puts stress on the hand and wrist when blow-drying or brushing.

One overall issue with most paddle brushes is they tend to have a THIN ROUND EDGE. This does not allow you to hold the paddle edge, limiting the ability to roll the brush bristles. Reducing the ability for tension adjustments, also when the hands are wet the fingers easily slip off the  rounded edge.

 Example Below

Thin Round Body Edge

The BALANCED HOLD

By re positioning the hand and fingers just slightly over the bottom edge of the bristles and pad just above the handle you will improve the function and performance of a paddle brush.

PERFECT BALANCE

In the hand the brush will become an extension of your hand and not just a tool.

Holding the brush in this position will  increase MANEUVERABILITY allowing you to roll the brush for easier, gentler, detangling and  controlling tension. This also improves MICROCIRCULATION when brushing the scalp .

LESS STRESS LESS EFFORT

Using this approach while brushing or blow-drying will improve your results.

An overall ERGONOMIC BRUSH, NOT JUST the HANDLE.
