You CAN manage FRIZZ quite successfully and here are a few tips to help control it!
High humidity causes the hair to swell so using Shampoos and Conditioners that focus on a low pH will tighten and seal the surface of the hair helping prevent the absorption of the moisture, which causes Frizz. Look for styling products that state they have a high Anti Humidity factors as some may be much lower and therefore not as effective. If a product has a high anti humidity factor it will also have a high anti dehydration factor built in to help reduce dryness.
Your hairdryer also plays an important role as it moves both airflow and heat. It’s essential to use a concentrator or nozzle when smoothing. When you control the AIR your control the HAIR, therefore you reduce the FRIZZ. Always direct the airflow and heat from the roots to the ends to prevent frizz. Holding the hair dryer’s nozzle too close to the hair on the brush will result in heat damage. We recommend holding the nozzle at least 2 inches away from the hair on the brush.
Styling brushes come in all shapes and sizes and the right one can make or break defeating the frizz factor.
You need a brush that helps address FRIZZ as the brush bristles do 90% of the work.
